Effect of β-diketonates of transition metals on mechanical properties and thermal oxidative breakdown of polyurethanes having hydrazide fragments☆

Abstract A study was made of the effect of some β-diketonates of transition metals on properties of polyurethanesulphonyl semicarbazides and polyurethane semicarbazides. Variations of mechanical properties of thermal and thermal oxidative breakdown of these polymers are determined to a large extent by complex-formation of β-diketonates with hydrazide fragments of the macrochain.
