The invention provides a method for promoting post-harvest plum fruit coloring. Fruits are irradiated for six to eight days by using an artificial light source under the condition of 20 DEG C. According to the method, plum fruits can be uniformly colored, the coloring effect is good, and the treatment of chemical agents is not needed, so that the method is safe, non-toxic, simple, practicable and convenient to operate.
