Low temperature specific heat and thermal conductivity of antiferromagnetic Kondo alloy CePdGa

1996
We have measured the specific heat and thermal conductivity of the polycrystalline Kondo alloy CePdGa. The specific heat shows high a Sommerfield coefficient, an antiferromagnetic transition atT N =1.8K and an anomalous residual term aroundT m =1.2K. The thermal conductivity data fit accuratly to ak=aT expression at very low temperature and the magnetic contribution to 1/k follows a theoretically predictedln(T) dependence.
