The invention relates to an ion exchange method for a vanadium-containing solution. According to the technical scheme, an ion exchange column for vanadium-containing solution ion exchange is adopted for ion exchange, and the method comprises the following steps: putting an ion exchange resin (6) into an ion exchange column body (14), allowing the vanadium-containing solution to realize adsorption with the ion exchange resin (6) in the ion exchange column body (14), discharging an adsorption liquid through a water pipe (10), and completing discharging when the concentration of V2O5 in the adsorption liquid is 0.8-1% of the initial concentration of the vanadium-containing solution; feeding a desorbent into the ion exchange column body (14) and allowing the ion exchange resin (6) loaded with vanadium to realize desorption, and discharging a vanadium-rich liquid from the water pipe (10), wherein a stepless frequency modulation ultrasonic generator (7) applies ultrasonic wave in adsorption and desorption processes, and the ion exchange resin (6) is cleaned before and after adsorption and desorption. The method has the characteristics that the ion exchange adsorption and desorption processes are accelerated, the operation is simple, the possibility of equipment blockage is low, and the utilization ratio of the ion exchange resin is high.
