An ultra high molecular weight polyethylene catalyst system comprising a magnesium compound carrier supporting the main solid titanium catalyst component and an alkyl aluminum compound co-catalyst component, characterized by adding carbon dioxide in the main parts of the solid catalyst component prepared in the process, a silicon compound an alcohol carrier treated magnesium compound, and the titanium content of the catalyst system in the process of loading and titanium esters adjusted by adjusting the addition amount of the titanate, changing the growth ability of the polymer active sites on the catalyst, adjusting the initial catalyst activity, improved polymerization material properties. The present invention is a catalyst preparation method is simple, industrially advantageous, prepared using ultra high molecular weight polyethylene particle diameter within a certain range, and reduce the amount of fines and coarse particles, the bulk density.
