Report of the Committee on Establishment of Standard Test Methods for Determination of Insect Resistance

The activities of this committee continued during the year. The first comprehensive report appeared in the BULLETIN OF THE ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA March, 1962. This report was intended to stimulate awareness of the resistance problem and to acquaint memhers with techniques of proven usefulness in resistance detection. Judging by the letters and requests for reprints from areas outside North America. it created interest in international entomology as well. In one area it is being reprinted in a foreign language.
