The lighting device comprising: a housing (2, 2A, 2B), which forms a lamp chamber (3), said housing having a wall (2a, 2Aa, 2Ba) having an opening (2c, 2Ac, 2Bc) therethrough; a light source (21) which is arranged in the lamp chamber; a heat sink (11, 11A, 11B), wherein the light source is fixed to the heat sink; an attachment portion (2e), wherein the heat sink is mounted on the mounting portion to the housing. A first portion (11a) of the heat sink faces an inner surface of the wall. A second portion (11e) of the heat sink is exposed by the opening to an outside of the wall through the opening, the fastening portion is disposed on the outside of the wall, to face the opening.
