BIFLATNESS OF CERTAIN SEMIGROUP ALGEBRAS

In the present paper, we consider biatness of certain classes of semigroup algebras. Indeed, we give a necessary condi- tion for a band semigroup algebra to be biat and show that this condition is not sucient. Also, for a certain class of inverse semi- groups S; we show that the biatness of ' 1 (S) 00 is equivalent to the biprojectivity of ' 1 (S).
