Analysis of Nicotine·lambda-cyhalothrin 10% EW by HPLC

To establish HPLC method for the analysis of nicotine·lambda-cyhalothrin 10% EW.[Methods] Quantitative analysis of the active ingredient was conducted using a XDB-C18 column,a variable wavelength UV detector at UV 245 nm,CH3OH∶H2O=90∶10(by vol) as the mobile phase with the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,and an external standard.[Results] For nicotine and lambda-cyhalothrin respectively,linear correlations are 0.996?7 and 0.998?5 respectively,standard deviations are 0.037,0.023 respectively,coefficients of variation are 0.410,2.322% respectively,and average recovery ratios are 99.35 and 101.69% respectively.[Conclusions] This method is simple,with high accuracy and good repeatability.
