Assistant Role of rhG-CSF in CODP Chemotherapy for Children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

2014
Objective To investigate the auxiliary effect of recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor( rhG-CSF) in CODP chemotherapy for children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Methods 80 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia treated with chemotherapy were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different treatment methods, each with 40 cases. The control group was given CODP( daunorubicin, vincristine, cyclophosphamide, prednison) chemotherapy, and the observation group additionally received rhG-CSF adjuvant chemotherapy, the effects of the 2 groups werecompared. Results Complete remission rate in the observation group was 100. 0%,complete remission rate in the control group was 92. 5%,and partial remission rate was 7. 5%,there had no significant difference( P 0. 05). Bone marrow depression( decreased white blood cell count, neutrophil, platelet count drop) and oral infection rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, the neutrophil recovery time,WBC recovery time and duration of fever in the observation group were obviously less than those of the control group, there had significant difference( P 0. 05). Conclusion rhG-CSF CODP adjuvant chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia has important clinical significance in improving bone marrow suppression and reducing infection.
