Study on the Rosoideae Resources in Nanjing Purple Mountain

Based on the field investigation and related literature, the Rosoideae resources in Nanjing Purple Mountain were summarized and analyzed. There were 23 species belonging to 6 genera in the region, species of Potentilla and Rosa were more than the others. Most plants of Rosoideae had the characteristics of dry, cold and barren tolerance. The reproductive capacity and adaptability were strong, and easy to cultivate and maintain. Some suggestions of protection, reasonable developing and utilization of the Rosoideae resources were proposed.
