Catalytic converter and fabrication method threof

PURPOSE: A catalyst unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce costs for catalyst components as an additional skin unit is formed at a part corresponding to a dead zone where the flow of exhaust gas is low. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst unit(100) comprises a channel unit(110), a skin unit(120), and an additional skin unit(130). Channels(112) are formed from the front side to rear side of the channel unit, and exhaust gas passes through the channels. The skin unit wraps the periphery except for the front and rear sides. The skin unit is integrally formed with the channel unit. The additional skin unit is additionally formed on the outer surface of the skin unit.
