Effect of water-saving cultivation on rice quality

According to the degrees of yield decrease of the main cultivation in Liaoning Provlimce, varieties the drought-resistant character of rice was classified into high, middle and low groups, the effect of water-saving cultivation on the rice quality of different drought-resistant varieties was studied. The results indicated that under water-saving cultivation ratio of head milled rice and ratio between length and width decreased; AC% of high drought-resistant variety increased, and AC% of non-drought resistance decreased; The changes in ratio of chalkiness and chalkiness area were very complicated. Changes of GT and GC were not regular, with little, change in average.
