Controlled Blasting of Enlarging Cutting with High-cliffed Slope in Electric Railway Station

In view of the construction characteristics of Ma Jiamou station in the second Bao-lan electric Railway, the project of the short-hole faint loose blasting with low bench was used in this paper. The corresponding blasting parameters, detonating order and defending measures are given. The engineering practice shows that the flyrocks and effect of seismic waves in blasting can effectively be controlled by applying the construction project. The muckpile is centralized, that the inside blasthole of blasting region is detonated before outside blasthole can change the motion direction of muckpile, which avoids the blasted fragments falling toward the existing railway.
