Göksu parkının (Eryaman-Ankara) mevcut kullanımı ve kullanıcı beklentilerinin irdelenmesi

Kent parklari, yogun calisma temposu sonucu rekreasyonel ihtiyaclari olan tum insanlarin bu turihtiyaclarini karsilayabilmek amaciyla olusturulmus kamuya acik alanlardir.Bu arastirma kapsaminda Goksu Parki'nin bir kent parki olarak mevcut kullanimi ortaya konulmustur.Bu amacla parkin Ankara kenti icerisindeki konumu, kullanim sekli ve kullanici profili ele alinmistir.Calisma kapsaminda oncelikle kent parki kavraminin, tanimi, niteliklerinin belirlenmesi ve tasarimilkelerinin saptanmasi amaclanmistir. Dunyadaki ve ulkemizdeki onemli kent parklari incelenerek bukent parklarinin tasarim ozellikleri, yer aldiklari sehir ve yapildiklari tarihlere gore mekânakazandirdiklari ve hizmet ettikleri amaclar belirlenmistir. Goksu Parki su odakli bir rekreasyon alanioldugundan kent parklarindaki su kullanimi ayri bir baslik altinda incelenmistir.Tez kapsaminda 1961 yilinda DSI tarafindan taskin onlemek amaciyla yapilmis Susuz Goleti'nin ilkyapim tarihinden gunumuze mulkiyeti ve yapilan projeler ile ilgili bilgilere de yer verilmistir. Dahasonra simdiki kullanimi olusturan ve Ankara Buyuksehir Belediyesi tarafindan yapilan Goksu Parkiprojesi ele alinmistir.Kent parklarinin planlama, tasarim ve isletme modelinin seciminde faydalanilan en onemli verilerdenbiri de kullanici arastirmalaridir. Kullanici anketleri ile elde edilen bulgular iki acidan onemtasimaktadir: Birincisi gelecekte yapilacak calismalara yon vermesi; ikincisi ise kullanimda olanparklarin basari seviyesini ortaya koymasidir.Calisma kapsaminda Goksu Parki'nin bir kent parki olarak hangi kullanim ozelliklerini icermekteoldugu, yeni planlanan bir alan olarak park kullanicilarin beklentilerini karsilayabilme basarisininbelirlenmesi icin anket calismalari yapilmistir. Yapilan anket calismasi bulgulari ile Goksu Parki'nin?Kent Parki? olarak kullanici karakteri, ziyaretcilerin parki kullanim egilimleri, parktan hosnut olupolmadiklari, sorunlari, beklenti ve istekleri belirlenmistir.Sonuc olarak yapilan anket calismasina bagli olarak saptanan sorunlar, istek ve onerilere dayali olarakGoksu Parki'na ve kent parklarina yonelik oneriler getirilmistir. 7abstractUrban parks are open spaces to general public in order to meet the needs of all persons having therecreational needs as a result of hard working conditions.In this study, the current use of Goksu Park is carried out. For this purpose, location of the park inAnkara and the usage, the users profile has been discussed.In the studys scope, it is aimed at determining the concept of urban park, its definition, qualities anddesigning criteria. By studying the important urban parks from all around the world and in ourcountry, it is determined the urban parks purposes and services according to the cities where they arelocated and to their construction time. Since the Goksu Park is a water focused recreation area, theusage of water in urban parks are studied under a different chapter.In the scope of the thesis, information concerning the ownership and the projects executed since theconstruction time up until today of Susuz Lake, built in 1961 by DSI to prevent the flood, is alsohighlighted. Then, the Goksu Park Project which provides the actual usage and developed by theAnkara Metropolitan Municipality is analyzed.One of the most important data to benefit for choosing the planning, design, administrating model ofurban parks is public surveys. Evidences obtained from public surveys matter for two reasons: Firstlyit orients new researches at the future; secondly it displays the level of success of parks currently used.Furthermore, the public surveys are conducted to expose the parks usage features and to designate thesuccess of the park in terms of meeting expectations of users as a new planned one. It is thendetermined Goksu Parks user profile, visitors tendencies of park usage, satisfaction, problems,expectations and desires by the public surveys evidences executed.Finally, suggestions and requests for Goksu Park and urban parks improved based on the problems andproposals of public surveys results.
