Um olhar para o uso de tecnologias no cuidado de idosos com deficiência cognitiva em tempos de pandemia

This article focuses on elderly people with cognitive disabilities in times of pandemic, presenting the paths taken and the strategies used to continue the health monitoring of this population. It highlights the movement of federal councils of the various health professions authorizing services through information and communication technology, informs about the modalities of teleconsultation  and telemonitoring assistance, refers to the service proposal and presents electronic games as a facilitating tool the actions. Finally, it highlights the importance of using different technologies as a valuable contribution to the treatment and monitoring of elderly people with cognitive deficits, understanding that this new approach adds value and resignifies possibilities for monitoring the elderly in question.
