E0 TRANSITIONS IN KR-82

1985
The first excited 0+ state of 82Kr appears to have a noncollective nature, in contrast to the 0+3 and other low-spin states in this nucleus. This is corroborated by a conversion-electron measurement of the 0+2→0+1 and the 0+3→0+1 transitions in 82Kr, following the decay of 82Rbg. The values B(E0;0+2→0+1)=3.1 (5) e2fm4 and X311=B(E0;0+3→0+1 2+1)=0 .097(24) have been deduced from the intensities of the conversion lines, observed with a mini-orange spectrometer.
