En Argentina, un “giro a la derecha” que no fue y el improbable regreso del peronismo de centro-izquierda

2020
Macri’s victory in 2015 in Argentina was seen as an indicator of a “right turn” in the region. In Argentina, it meant that for the first time since the existence of the majority parties, a right-wing political force came to power through democratic elections. The results of the elections in October 2019, and the return of a center-left coalition led by the Peronists to power, are an auspicious occasion to reflect on the factors that prevented the consolidation of a “right turn” in the country.
