A review of the GANIL activity with the 14‐GHz ECR sources

In this paper, these main activities will be reviewed: (1) The GANIL ECR, developed the last year, has been placed on a 100‐kV high voltage platform. (2) An identical source has been realized for the Hahn–Meitner‐Institut Berlin. (3) The construction of a pulsed source mostly operating on the afterglow mode for the Lead ion accelerating facility of the CERN is undertaken.
