Synthesis and Properties of Ortho-Nitro-Fe Complex

Ortho‐Nitro‐Fe complex (Transition metal complex) has synthesized by chemical route method and properties of made complex has characterized by X‐Ray diffraction (XRD), Mossbauer spectroscopy, Fourier transformation infra‐red spectroscopy (FTIR) and X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). XRD analysis shows that sample is crystalline in nature and having particle size in the range of few nano meters. Mossbauer spectroscopy at room temperature shows the oxidation state of Iron (central metal ion) after complaxasion. FTIR spectra of the complex confirms the coordination of metal ion with ligand.
