Comparing Tools for Web-session Recording and Replaying

One of the most popular tool for web-analysis is named Google Analytics. This tool helps to track business goals and track information about users. But for improving User- Experience, tools with higher gathering detail such as mouse- movement are needed. In this paper, tools for web-session recording and replaying are introduced. Using of those tools helps to uncover real user behavior. According to the gathered information, it is possible to find bottlenecks on a web-page and make improvements which can lead to better User-Experience, which in turn, leads to fulfillment of business goals. From the gathered data it is possible to create aggregated results. Those results are very often represented as click-maps, scroll-maps or funnels. This paper compares features of selected tools and their system resource consumption.
