Tamil Abstract:96 வகை சிறறிலககியஙகளுள ஒனறு தூது இலககியம. தமிழரிடையே தூது அனுபபுவது ஒரு வழககமாக இருநதது. அரசரகள பகைவரிடததில தூதனுபபுதலும, புலவரகள வளளலகளிடதது தூதனுபபுதலும, தலைவியர தலைவரகளிடதது தூதனுபபுதலும வழககமாக இருநது வநததறகுப பணடைய இலககியஙகள சானறுகளாக அமைகினறன. தமிழமொழியில தூது எனனும பொருள அமைபபைக கொணடு எழுநத நூலகள ஏறததாழ அறுபதுககும அதிகமாகவே காணபபடுகினறன. இதிகாசஙகளுள ஒனறான மகாபாரதததில பாரதபபோரினபோது கிருஷணன தூது செனற சிறபபமசஙகளைத திருவளளுவர கூறிய தூதின பொருளமைதிகொணடும, தூதின இலககணவிதிபபடியும எடுததியமபுவதே இவவாயவின நோககமாகும. English Abstract: The article is about the ambassadorship prevailed in the ancient times. "Mahabharatha", the longest epic of the world has lots of evidences of political messages shared through ambassadors to evade and conduct of war. Krishna, considered the avatar if Lord Vishnu plays a vital role in the epic. to evade the war, he goes to talk with the Kauravas for the Pandavas. the article focuses on the themes related to it in relation to Thiruvalluvar's concept of ambassadorship.
