O cuidador e a tecnologia na conformação do idoso portador de Alzheimer

This paper raises the dimensions of analysis that arise when researching the materiality of age and aging with Alzheimer's disease (AD) through technology use. Family caregivers, who usually take care of the aged person with this dementia in their own homes, shape technologie, from a historically and socially constructed perception of AD and the elderly person. Sociotechnical and sociopolitical implications to these aged patients are discussed.
