CONFORTO TÉRMICO EM SALA DE AULA NATURALMENTE VENTILADA

Through architectural retrofit it is possible to achieve better thermal comfort conditions for users. The present work resulted from a postgraduate discipline and had the objective of evaluating several passive solutions in an existing classroom that presents high levels of thermal discomfort as stated by students and professors. Four possibilities of architectural intervention and their combinations were analysed. The percentage of comfort hours according to ASHRAE55 was obtained both for the current classroom situation and for the architectural solutions proposed, by EnergyPlus simulations. The classroom presented 50% of comfort hours in the current situation. The combined solution of brise soleil 30o with white exterior wall paint obtained the highest percentage of comfort hours, reaching 61%.
