Method of obtaining the epoxy alcohol compound, and manufacturing method of an epoxy alcohol compound and triazole compound

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a new method for obtaining an epoxy alcohol compound, capable of easily eliminating its structural isomer.SOLUTION: This method for obtaining the epoxy compound expressed by formula (3) [wherein, R is H or 1-6C alkyl; and Ar is an aromatic group which may have at least 1 kind of a group selected from the group consisting of halogen atoms and trifluoromethyl] is provided by comprising a process of mixing a mixture containing the epoxy alcohol compound expressed by formula (3) and its structural isomer with an acid at a temperature selected from 30 to 70°C range, and a process of recovering the epoxy compound expressed by formula (3) from the mixture obtained in the previous process.
