STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AS A DEVELOPMENT MODEL: THE EXAMPLE OF THE EASTERN BLACK SEA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (DOKAP)

In this study, it was aimed to analyze the current status of the Eastern Black Sea Development Project (DOKAP), which is one of the regional development projects that have an important role in the regional development of our country, to analyze the strategic situation of the present situation, to identify its characteristics, . For this, descriptive method has been adopted by searching the related literature. In the study, the final three-year results reports of the project were taken into account. During these assessments, the SWOT analysis technique was used. Before passing the analysis, general information on strategic management, Development Projects and DOKAP was given. In the final part of the study, a variety of suggestions were made by conducting an evaluation of the strategic significance of DOKAP within the scope of the analyzes made.
