Impact of temperature on digestive enzyme activities in oriental weatherfish Misgurnus anguillicaudatus.

2009
The impact of temperature on digestive enzyme activities of intestine and hepatopancreas in oriental weatherfish(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) was studied under the condition of pH 7.5,and 8 different temperature ranging from 5 to 75 ℃.It was found that the optimum temperature of amylase activity was 45 ℃ in the hepatopancreas, and 35 ℃ in the intestine. The maximal protease activity was observed at 55 ℃ in hepatopancreas and foregut and at 45 ℃ in the midgut and hindgut. The maximal lipase activity was found at 55 ℃ in the hepatopancreas and midgut. However the maximal lipase activity was observed at 45 ℃ in the foregut and hindgut.
