Selection of combustion equipments for lignite fired boiler

Based on the features of high moisture,low heating value and easy slagging,and their effect on the selection of boiler combustion equipment and pulverizing system,the design of furnace and burner of lignite fired boiler and the selection of pulverizing system were studied.The selection range of furnace characteristic parameters for lignite fired boiler was presented: for the ancient lignite,to avoid agglomeration,the pemixer of burners should not be too long,and the recommended range of primary air velocity is 17-22 m/s;for the lignite with w(Mar)35%,direct flow burner with tangential combustion is recommended;for the lignite with w(Mar)35%,medium speed mill is an option;for the lignite with w(Mar)40%,fan mill is recommended.
