Non-invasive atrio-ventricular pacing with a hexapolar gastro-oesophageal electrode

A non-invasive pacing system consisting of a novel hexapolar gastro-oesophageal (GO) electrode and pulse generator has been developed. Stable atrial, ventricular and AV sequential pacing was easily established in 26 of 28 patients attempted (93%) using this system.
