Changes in the Geopolitics of Africa, and Issues Pertaining to Three-Way Cooperation Among China, Africa and the West

Since the advent of the twenty-first century, China and Africa have, at the same time, embarked on the process of national rejuvenation, and have strengthened their partnerships in the course of this process. This is a major event in world politics in the new century. The West-centric global order is already finding it hard to adapt to the new changes that are occurring in the African periphery, and the topic of the establishment of multilateral partnerships pertaining to the peaceful development of Africa has swiftly made its way to the agendas of various parties. In the opinion of the authors, there are differences between China and the West in terms of historical experiences, diplomatic philosophies and diplomatic principles. However, both parties also share broad understanding and interests in Africa.
