Movimento Estudantil e Dimensão PolíticoOrganizativa: um debate necessário na formação profissional em Serviço Social

EnglishThe reflections in this article refer to the experiences of the authors in the Student Movement in Social Work (MESS), registered in a research of Scientific Initiation, whose objective was to understand what the students of the Social Work course think and know about this Student Movement, as a politicalorganizational dimension, during the professional training, at the Federal University of the Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). The research, whose analysis was based on the critical dialectic method, was carried out with students enrolled in the 5th to 8th period of the course and the data collection through the application of a closed questionnaire. The results indicated a synthesis of the concrete reality expressed in the voices of the research subjects, which signify the MESS as necessary for the political organization of the category, as well as for the strengthening of social struggles and the hegemonic ethical-political project of Social Service. portuguesAs reflexoes neste artigo referem-se as experiencias dos/as autores/as no Movimento Estudantil em Servico Social (MESS), registradas em uma pesquisa de Iniciacao Cientifica1 , cujo objetivo foi compreender o que os/as estudantes do curso de Servico Social pensam e conhecem acerca desse Movimento Estudantil, enquanto dimensao politico-organizativa, durante a formacao profissional, na Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM). A pesquisa, cuja analise fora calcada no metodo dialetico critico, foi realizada com estudantes matriculados/ as do 5o ao 8o periodo do curso e a coleta de dados feita atraves da aplicacao de questionario fechado. Os resultados apontaram sintese da realidade concreta expressa nas vozes dos sujeitos da pesquisa, os quais significam o MESS como necessario para a organizacao politica da categoria, bem como para o fortalecimento das lutas sociais e do projeto etico-politico hegemonico do Servico Social.
