Walking the Tightrope Between Change and Tradition: Lessons on Managing Projects in Benedictine Contexts

2019
In this chapter the authors focus on project management skills. Donators are expecting more and more professionalism in the way the projects they are financing are managed. Here project management is structured in six parts: Defining projects and their characteristics, project initiation, project planning, project execution, project closure and review, as well as best practice advice. Both best and worst practice are used to highlight the most important takeaways.
