NUCLEAR MAGNETIC MOMENTS OF Sr$sup 87$ AND Mg$sup 2$$sup 5$

1958
The value for the Sr/sup 87/ nuclear magnetic moment is mu (Sr/sup 87/) = 1.0939 plus or minus 0.0014 nuclear magnetons and g(Sr/sup 87/) = 0.2423 plus or minus 0.0003. No reference was made in the article to Mg/sup 25/. (R.V.J.) results are in good agreement with the experimental data for determination of nucleon --nucleon cross sections at energies up to 5.3 Bev and for nucleon--nuclei cross sections. Hence, it is shown that the basic interaction processes up to 34 Bev do not differ from the interactions in the energy range possible in present accelerators. (R.V.J.)
