Étude Spectroscopique Des Complexes De Chélation Formes Entre Les Lanthanides Trivalents Et L'Acide Hydroxyéthyléthylénediaminetriacétique

2010
The study of the 1:1 complexes of HEDTA with different lanthanides is carried out by different spectral methods (RX, infra-red and Raman spectroscopy) in order to determine their molecular structure. The behaviour of the alcoholic group of the acid is specially studied; it seemed that, according to the number of coordination sites and the size of the ionic radius of the metal, HEDTA behave like a hexadentate or pentadentate chelating agent. In the last event, the alcoholic group does not take part in the coordination.
