Ion Bernstein waves in a toroidal steady‐state plama

IBW propagation is experimentally investigated in a steady‐state toroidal plasma. The waves are externally launched into the plasma by mode conversion of the Electron Plasma waves. The conversion efficiency is analyzed as a function of the relevant parameters, by Fourier transforming the signal detected by an interferometric system.
