COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS IN FUZZY METRIC SPACES FOR SEMI-COMPATIBLE MAPPINGS

The intent of this paper is to establish some common fixed point theorems through semi-compatibility for quadruple self maps, two of which are semi-compatible and remaining two are weak compatible. In our theorems the completeness of the space X and the continuity of maps is replaced with a set of four alternative conditions for functions satisfying implicit relations. These theorems extend and improve the results of B. Singh and S. Jain (1-4) and Mishra et. al. (5).
