The invention discloses an insecticidal composition containing fosthiazate and pyridaben. The herbicide composition comprises the active ingredients of fosthiazate and pyridaben, wherein the mass ratio of the fosthiazate to the pyridaben is (1:20)-(30:1). The composition can be prepared into wettable powder, missible oil, microemulsion, suspension emulsion and granule dosage forms. The herbicide composition is reasonable in component, good in herbicide effect and low in dosage cost, the activity and the herbicide effect are not simply superposed by the activities of the components, and compared with the existing single preparation, the herbicide composition has the advantages of being obvious in herbicide effect, obvious in synergistic effect and high in safety and meeting the safety requirement of the pesticide preparation.
