Lasing characteristics of single-crystalline CsPbCl3 perovskite microcavities under multiphoton excitation
2017
Nonlinear optical characteristics of single-crystalline CsPbCl3 perovskite microcavities under multiphoton excitation are studied. The high 3-photon absorption coefficient of the clusters of CsPbCl3 microplates is found to be 2.1 × 10−5 cm3 GW−2 for the support of low-temperature amplified spontaneous emission. Furthermore, stable lasing emission is observed from single CsPbCl3 microplates under 3-photon excitation at 83 K. Hence, we have shown that single-crystalline CsPbCl3 perovskite semiconductor microstructures have excellent nonlinear optical properties for the realization of novel upconversion lasing devices.
