The invention discloses a winding complementary type multiphase half-tooth-winding flux switching motor which comprises a stator and a rotor. The stator is composed of stator cores (1) and permanent magnets (4), each stator core (1) is composed of a fault-tolerant tooth (2) and two magnetic teeth (3), and each fault-tolerant tooth (2) is placed between the two corresponding magnetic teeth (3) so that an E-shaped core structure can be formed. The permanent magnets (4) are embedded into the adjacent stator cores (1), the magnetizing directions of the permanent magnets (4) are tangential directions, and the magnetizing directions are opposite. The fault-tolerant teeth (2) are provided with armature coils (5), the armature coils (5) are concentrated windings, and the half-tooth-winding structure is adopted. According to the winding complementary type multiphase half-tooth-winding flux switching motor, the armature coils are arranged on the fault-tolerant teeth, the permanent magnets of the stator are not provided with armature coils, the high temperature demagnetizing phenomenon of the permanent magnets due to the fact that the armature coils emit heat can be effectively prevented in the working process of the motor, and therefore the operation reliability of the motor is improved.
