Transmission contingency, voltage collapse and transfer limits evaluation for the THP pumped storage hydro project

This paper describes an analytical study performed to evaluate the potential impact of the proposed interconnection of a major pumped storage project to the East China Electric Power Grid (ECEPG). The study assesses the performance of the grid by focusing on the power transfer capability between electrical regions during different operating modes of the plant.
