Digitized Records with Automatic Evaluation for Natural Family Planning and Hormonal Treatment

2019
The paper proposes an innovative IT tool for natural family planning based on the Symptothermal method. The Symptothermal method is based on monitoring natural monthly changes in female fertility. Recording and evaluating fertility changes is basis for natural fertility monitoring. The Symptothermal method is the better way for family planning when compared to hormonal contraception because it has no adverse side effects. In order to evaluate fertility symptoms, recording papers are used. The paper proposes a new approach to this method by involving modern IT tools. Table records in an electronic form evaluate precisely, they considerably save user time and comprise long-term data regarding the patient’ health condition. Thus, they play a significant role in an early diagnosis of special reproductive circumstances (menopause, drug effects) and successful solution (timing of intercourse) or treatment (timing of hormonal therapy).
