STRATEGIC ROLE OF PMO (PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE) UM PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF ITAIPU TECHNOLOGICAL PARK FOUNDATION

In the present study the proposal was to analyze the strategical paper that the PMO exerts in the FPTI (Fundation Technological Park Itaipu-Brazil) front to the concepts and philosophies of Management of Projects. The specific objectives had been established to tell the perception of the team of the PMO on the work that the office plays and its strategical paper. One is about a study of case, description, qualitative and with transversal perspective. The results point parallel with respect to the assertive one of that the strategical paper of the PMO in the FPTI is to provide methodologies and tools with the objective to develop a management standard accomplishes and innovator, supplying subsidies that fortify the programs and projects directly. Having as base one has equipped qualified that it demonstrates to interest and concern with the quality of its work, the PMO of the FPTI if it detaches as a strategical support fort, without which the success of the programs and projects of the organization would be compromised.
