Study of multi-channel static coded aperture spectrometer

On the basis of traditional single slit spectrometer,the operating principle of spectrometer was analyzed and the system equation was obtained.Hadamard transform spectrometer(HTS) system and its advantages and disadvantages were analyzed.The improving ways were broughtout: increase the dimension of the input slit and detector to obtain multi-channel spectral information.Then the system equation was transformed,and a new structure of spectrometer was found by taking place traditional slit with a two-dimensional static aperture.This design avoids complicate optical and mechanical mobile structures like HTS and makes the system compact.Theoretical analysis and simulations show that it not only ensures the resolution but also increases the system luminous flux apparently and the SNR is also increased,thereby the double gain is achieved.Then an actual optical system was designed to satisfy a specific coded aperture,and the simulation results agree with the theoretical analysis,which proves the practicability of the structure.
