PLC remote control outlet

PURPOSE: A device for controlling power of an outlet by using a PLC(Power Line Communication) method is provided to remotely control power of an outlet by the PLC method. CONSTITUTION: A signal coupling circuit(403) has a PLC transformer for connecting a power terminal to a power line signal driver terminal, and transmitting and receiving signals. A power line modem IC(401) receives the input of an IR(Infrared) receiver(409), and performs a central control operation. If a power is supplied to an outlet, the power line modem IC(401) turns on a state display unit(413). If the power is not supplied to the outlet, the power line modem IC(401) turns off the state display unit(413). If a command corresponding to its address value is broadcasted on a power line, the power line modem IC(401) performs an operation corresponding to the command and broadcasts the command or its operation result state again on the power line.
