Calidad de sueño en pacientes con hemodiálisis

The need for sleep and rest is defined as a person's ability to get sleep, rest or relax throughout the day, both associated with the quantity as the quality of sleep and rest, as well as the perception of daytime energy level. This research aims to analyze the quality of sleep in patients with hemodialysis in the Lara II C.A. Dialysis Unit, through a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach based on field research in descriptive level, under a non-experimental design of cross-section. The population was composed of 100 patients with hemodialysis who prior informed consent is given a data collection instrument, was made through the index of quality of sleep of Pittsburg (ICSP), with an internal consistency and reliability of 0.78 and 0.83. Taking into account the results obtained, it is concluded that the subjects studied, 82% are bad sleepers and 18% good sleepers.
