Discussion on Application Prospect of New Energy as Station-use Electric Source in Converter Station

The prospect of applying new energy as the station-use electric source in converter station was presented.The advantages in improving the reliability and economy and the disadvantages in increasing investment and instability of initial operation of applying new energy as the station-use source were analyzed.
