Consensus on Circulatory Shock and Hemodynamic Monitoring of Task Force of the European Society of Comments on Intensive Care Medicine

Circulatory shock is a life-threatening syndrome resulting in multi-organ failure and a high mortality rate. The aim of this consensus by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine task group is to provide clinicians with comprehensive guideline with respect to the diagnosis, monitoring and management of shock. The consensus includes 44 statements consisting of description, definition, recommendations and best possible practice at bedside. Key words: Shock; Hemodynamics; Intensive care
