A study on the origin and evolution of cultivated soybeans

In the present paper, the distribution and evolution of wild soybeans and cultivated soybeans in China are analysed on records of papers and archaeological studies. The probability that cultivated soybean originated from China, and from serveral regions. In the meantime, the internal relations of wild soybean and cultivated soybean in morphology and genetics are revealed. This study has an important significance in guiding our pactice for breeding and cultivating soybeans.
