Studies on Generation and Characterization of Nano Aluminium Nitride Using Wire Explosion Technique

The focus of the present work is to produce high purity nanoparticles of aluminium nitride by wire explosion technique and investigate its microstructure and physicochemical behavior by certain physico‐chemical diagnostic studies viz. X‐ray diffraction, TEM, EDAX, FTIR and TG-DTA. The influence of processing parameters on wire explosion technique is studied in detail. Grain growth kinetics of microstructural evolution of nano aluminium nitride is discussed.
