High borosilicate glass for storing frozen biological products and preparation method thereof

The present invention discloses high borosilicate glass for storing frozen biological products. The high borosilicate glass comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 80.6 to 81 percent of SiO2, 12 to 12.4 percent of B2O3, 2 to 2.4 percent of Al2O3, 4.1 to 4.5 percent of R2O, less than or equal to 0.2 percent of Fe2O3, and less than or equal to 0.3 percent of CaO, wherein R is an alkali metal. The high borosilicate glass has the advantages of stable physiochemical performance, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, freezing resistance, thermal shock resistance, and suitability for storing the frozen biological products. The present invention also discloses a method for preparing the high borosilicate glass. The method is reasonable, simple and convenient; and the produced glass meets the standard and fills the blank in China.
